Nothing tastes quite like fruit and veggies that you pick yourself. Bay Staters are fortunate to live in a region full of so many wonderful local farms and orchards. From summer berries to fall pumpkins, there are a plethora of pick-your-own farms scattered throughout Massachusetts. Strawberry picking is always an activity on my family’s summer bucket list, and I know I need to put it on the schedule soon because picking season is just a few short weeks away! Get your buckets ready, because farms all over the state, including Tony Andrews Farm in East Falmouth, will soon be welcoming visitors to their fields.

Tony Andrews Farm is such a fun place to visit! It has been in business since 1935 and remains a local favorite.

The farm features strawberry and snap pea picking in early summer.
PYO sunflowers and pumpkins will also be available in the fall.

The 2024 summer strawberry season starts on June 9. Be sure to make time for a visit because this short but delicious season is anticipated to wrap up in mid-July. The farm is already anticipating a top-notch crop.

However, if you aren’t interested in doing the picking yourself, you can still enjoy some juicy Tony Andrews berries. There is a farm stand on the property that sells delicious fruit, veggies, local jams, and honey.
