Bray Lake Loop Trail Is Best Lake Trail With Views In Massachusetts

While nature is plentiful in Massachusetts, some hikes are truly unforgettable. Bray Lake Loop Trail in Mount Tom State Reservation in Holyoke is no exception. This incredible lake hike is located in Mount Tom State Reservation in Holyoke.

The reservation spans across 2,082 acres and features over 20-miles of hiking, so it's easy to get lost in Mount Tom.

Bray Lake Loop Trail is just under 2-miles long, so it won't take too much out of you. However it can get steep and slippery at some points, so make sure to wear proper gear.

As the name suggests, this hike features a beautiful lake to walk beside.

In the warmer months, Bay Staters love to go fishing or canoeing upon Lake Bray.

As you continue on your trek you'll find beautiful footbridges, rushing creeks, and some of the best views in Holyoke.

Upon this hike, you'll reach a vantage point that will have you feeling miles away from it all. You'll be able to see the Connecticut Valley to the south, and the Berkshires to the east and west.
