There Is Such A Thing As A Unicorn Festival In Maryland And It Is As Magical As It Sounds
Calling all unicorn lovers! There’s a little known unicorn festival in Maryland and it’s sure to be a magical time. This event features real-life unicorns that you can pet and take photos with. All ages are sure to enjoy this enchanting festival that’s straight out of a fairy tale. Read on, plan accordingly, and prepare for lots of photo ops at this unique place in the Old Line State.
The Big Purple Barn is a non-profit organization located at 6407 Hillmeade Road in Bowie, Maryland.
Nestled at Hidden Haven Farm, The Big Purple Barn provides homes for special needs equines. These rescued animals are given a second chance at life, and tours are available by reservation.
This is a limited admission event, so be sure to purchase tickets sooner than later. Early bird admission ends on June 22nd and is $15 for ages 3 and up (children 2 and under are free). After that time, general admission is $25.
There will also be unicorn-themed goodies to purchase at the event, so bring some money just in case. This is one festival that you have to experience at least once.
