If you love hiking but prefer shorter treks, the following trail is sure to please. Maryland has hikes under 3-miles, and hikes under 5-miles, but this one is only 1-mile in length! It’s great for all ages, even kids, and also features three charming bridges, which have interesting histories. Read on, and enjoy this little adventure in the Old Line State.

This trail is known as Three Bridges Loop. There are three bridges along the mile-long hike, and the planking was salvaged from remnants of hurricane Isabel.
