You may have heard of The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, but how about Salisbury Zoo? Technically called Salisbury Zoological Park, this zoo is absolutely free and full of animals to see.

Salisbury Zoo also offers story time and other fun and fascinating events.
When you're done visiting the zoo, you can head right next door to Ben's Red Swings.
This unique playground was built by the community in honor of Ben Layton, who passed from leukemia as a child in 2002.
Along with honoring Ben's memory, it's also full of colorful signs and so much more.
