Baltimore’s Green Mount Cemetery is the final resting place of dozens of notable people including political figures, war heroes, celebrities, and more. Stroll along through the historic cemetery and you’ll find remarkable gravestones and tombs at every turn. There is one gravestone in particular that leaves visitors intrigued time and time again.

Although he invented and patented several items, he is most well known for patenting the Ouija Board in 1891.
While Elijah Bond once rested in a unmarked grave, he now has one of the most unique tombstones in the world, commemorating his most famous patent.

Thanks to monetary donations of several people, this one-of-a-kind tombstone was made uniquely for Elijah Bond. With his invention going strong for over 100 years, his legacy deserves nothing less.
