The trail is only about a quarter mile. It is rocky, however, so be sure you're wearing shoes with good grip. Strollers are not recommended for this path.
After a mere quarter mile, you'll arrive at Cascade Falls. This spot is gorgeous year-round.
During warmer months, you may even spot people dipping their toes in the natural pool.
And during winter, this natural wonder is known to become frozen over. The trek is chilly but so worth seeing.
If you like your hikes short and sweet, then look no further than Cascade Falls Trail at Patapsco Valley State Park. Although the distance is small, the views are big and beautiful.
