The Scenic Train Ride In Maryland That Runs Year-Round

Have you always wanted to go on a scenic train ride in Maryland? There’s no need to wait for warm weather to do so — the following one in the Old Line State runs year-round! Check out this excursion that makes for a unique day trip any time.

Your Western Maryland Scenic Railroad adventure begins at 13 Canal Street in Cumberland, Maryland.

Although this railroad is mostly known for its autumn foliage rides, it also offers plenty of other excursions year-round, even during wintertime!

The train departs from the Cumberland station. While onboard, order brunch for an additional fee if you're feeling hungry. What a lovely way to enjoy your morning coffee!

While chowing down and sipping on java, marvel at the mountain sights all around.

Be sure to bring your camera to capture views you can only see from Western Maryland Scenic Railroad.

The train will then stop at the Frostburg station for a few hours...

...where you can get out and explore the town for a bit.
