8 Spots In Maryland With The Quirkiest Christmas Decor You Have To See With Your Own Eyes
Only in Maryland will you find crab pot Christmas trees, giant glowing crabs, and Old Bay ornaments. That’s why we’ve decided to put together this list of some of the quirkiest Christmas displays in the Old Line State. There’s no place like Maryland during the holidays, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Check it out:
1. Chesapeake City Waterfront
Winterfest of Lights
runs until January 7th, which gives you plenty of time to explore the nautical Christmas displays. With glowing crabs and a giant crab pot tree, this waterfront spot is oh so Maryland.

6. Bushel Basket Tree, Cambridge
This annual tree is a work of art once it's all put together. Seeing this quirky Maryland display makes you feel not only pride for the holidays, but pride for just how unique our state truly is.
7. Byron Memorial Park, Williamsport
There are actually quite a few parks throughout Maryland that are decked out for the holiday season. This spot, however, has so much more than just stars and snowflakes. See the gazebo transform into a nostalgic carousel and spot your favorite cartoon characters throughout the grounds.
