Maryland is home to many walks of life. From the city lover to the country bumpkin, our lifestyles and personalities are so different. However, most of us have one big thing in common, we all love our state. Here are 13 types of people you may meet in Maryland.
Whether they root for the Ravens, Redskins, Orioles, or Terps, these spirited Marylanders own dozens of jerseys and have a basement full of memorabilia.
They or someone in their family owns a yacht and they most-likely live in Annapolis or St. Michaels. You can spot them by their Sperry shoes, fancy socks, and khakis.
This exhausting bunch can be found running all around the streets of Maryland when not competing in the hundreds of races our state has to offer.
They are very particular about which bars they will patron and prefer a glass that will let their brew bubbles breathe.
Similar to the Craft Beer Connoisseurs, these Marylanders are picky about their wines and can waft with the best of them. You'll often find them at the vineyards throughout the summer.
This bunch either lives in Ocean City year-round or has a beach house they visit often. They're sick of the tourist crap and just want to spend their time relaxing on the beach or at their favorite local spot.
Whether they're hiking, camping, or simply taking in the sights from a high overlook, the nature lovers of Maryland prefer a little quiet time surrounded by mother nature.
