Maryland has dozens of mountains, all of which are excellent for hiking and for viewing towns below from stunning overlooks. There is one mountain in particular however, that is extra special. Backbone Mountain is Maryland’s highest point. Located in Garrett County, it’s an amazing mountain adventure from start to finish.
