Videos of residents helping one another though dangerous flood waters ignited inspiration in those who watched. While most towns may have been shut down for months or years after, Ellicott City began to rebuild spectacularly fast.
For all these reasons and more, Ellicott City is not only cool, but as many other positive adjectives that one could imagine. There's just no place like it.
