Wake Up Among The Treetops At These Enchanting Treehouses In Maryland
Next time you’re vacationing in western Maryland, ditch those chain hotels and book something that’s truly one-of-a-kind. The following treehouses are perfect for a family or group. They’re hidden in the woods but are far from shabby. For a taste of magic with all of the modern amenities, check out Ella’s Enchanted Treehouses.
Find Ella's Enchanted Treehouses in Bittinger, Maryland, which is just minutes from the popular Deep Creek Lake area.
There are two treehouses to choose from, with plans to build more! For now, the two available are all you need for a comfy weekend away in the woods.
The first treehouse is known as Eagles Nest. It's designed for four to five guests, located among towering pines.
Here's a view of the living space and kitchenette...
...and just two of the cozy beds available.
We love the rustic details inside and out, down to each and every piece of furniture.
And a real tree even makes its way through the outdoor patio.
The other treehouse available to rent is known as The Gathering Tree. It sleeps six people.
Here's the kitchenette...
...and a view of one of the tucked away beds.
What a great place to sit, read, and take in the views while staying warm.
We're especially fond of the spiral staircase here, which looks like it's straight out of a fairytale cottage.
Because of the deciduous trees surrounding this treehouse, it's especially gorgeous for an autumn stay.
Both treehouses offer outdoor space so you can make a classic campfire. Be sure to bring marshmallows!
Ella's Enchanted Treehouses are open year-round, so you can enjoy the changing scenery through the seasons. What a view!
I know I'm keeping this place in mind for my next Deep Creek trip. How about you?
