There’s No House In The World Like This One In Maryland
In Bethesda, you can find Maryland’s weirdest house.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. Edward and Frances Garfinkle purchased the home in 1967, when it looked like every other house on the block. But they had a quirky vision and were determined to bring their whimsical fantasy to life. The Mushroom House was recently purchased in 2015 for $920,000 by an anonymous buyer.
