We’ve highlighted some of Baltimore’s best attractions, from natural wonders to amazing architecture. And although we’re cheerleaders for this great city, we can’t hide the fact that Baltimore has quite the reputation. While some areas constantly receive the spotlight, the cities’ dangerous areas remain hidden and almost unspeakable to some.

The following video by Youtube user, Stock Board Asset, gives us a morbid glimpse of Baltimore’s most violent areas. It’s a grim reminder of how disconnected the city truly is.

The number of Baltimore homicides are so outrageous, that The Baltimore Sun even has a daily homicides tracker. As I’m writing this (near the end of July), the total number of murders (so far) for 2017 is just under 200. Only time will tell if this will be another record year.
