Sitting on 21-acres of forested land next to the Sasanoa River in Georgetown is the beautiful Seguin Tree Dwellings & Gathering Space.

It was created by two couples with four very creative locals! Loren Francis, Ida Lennestål, Marsha Dunn and Philip Francis intended the space to be an respite from the world nestled in the trees. It's also a retreat space for small groups to gather.

Phillip and Loren Francis grew up just across the way from the land the home currently stands on. They've worked with their wives to create 3 distinct structures.

For larger groups there's the "Souhegan," or "watching place." There's a bathroom right inside and a sweet hot tub for star gazing at night.

Some of the best waterfront views can be taken in right from this deck.

The other two structures are called "Madawaska" and "Isle Au haut." They're great for one to two people.

We love how light and airy each space is, and that everything is so beautifully minimalist.

This place is also dedicated to bringing groups together for things like retreats, dinners, lectures, and yoga classes. They also have a wonderful Artists in Residence program that allows visitors to spend a few days in the trees to recharge that creativity.
