4 Years Ago, Maine Experienced The Warmest Winter Day On Record With A Temperature Of 62 Degrees
Most of us know that Maine can be quite challenging in the winter. Between the cold temperatures, the windy gusts and the snow it can be tempting to stay indoors until June. But just a few years ago we had an interesting respite from that weather. We love the cozy days that come with a winter in Vacationland, but that warm day was something we’ll never forget!
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms.
