The hike is fairly straight-forward, making it doable for a wide variety of people. Though, anyone with mobility issues might find it challenging simply because it's an outdoor trail.

Drive about a mile from the park entrance to get to the Screw Auger Falls area which is marked. The official Screw Auger Trail is slightly less than a half-mile. But, the route to the falls is just .1 mile. And there are guardrails leading to the falls themselves.

The first drop is beautiful at 30 feet. It cascades over a granite ledge into an impressively large gorge.
