There’s No Better Way To Start Your Summer Than This Small Town Festival In Maine
While the weather has us wondering if summertime will ever really arrive, we’re holding onto the things that pretty much guarantee it. Among them are the many festivals that take place every summer in Maine. Good weather or bad, these are the things that remind us that summer is here. We’ve told you about a few of our favorites, but the subject of today’s article can truly be considered the official, unofficial kick off to summer!
Each summer for more than ten years, the small coastal town of Kennebunkport has come alive to welcome summer.
While you can purchase individual tickets for events happening over the course of the week-long event, we think the Grand Tasting Party is our favorite.
Check out Brews and Tunes (called The Maine Craft Music Festival this year) on The Green at the Captain Lord Mansion, featuring Spencer Albee + Band and The Ghost of Paul Revere.
Michelle has lived in many places, but counts Maine as one of the best. In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms.
