Santa Arrives By Boat To Kick Off The Most Beautiful Christmas Celebration In Maine
It’s the most wonderful time of the year here in Maine! The snow is falling, the wind is whipping, and cozy vibes are in the air. There’s just something about Christmastime that makes things feel particularly magical here. There are a lot of ways to appreciate the season, but none are more beautiful than the annual celebration that kicked off this weekend in Kennebunkport. And the best part is coming up!
There's no better place to be during the holidays than Maine, and in Maine, you can't get any more special than Kennebunkport during Christmas Prelude, which started on Thursday, December 5th, 2019.
The multi-day celebration includes a packed schedule of events that range from cocktail parties to puppy parades to the annual Christmas tree lighting in Dock Square.
To catch him, head to The Boathouse Waterfront Hotel & Restaurant where he and his team will pull in waving to kids and adults who have been waiting all year for him to get here.
Be sure to arrive early to take in the excitement of seeing his boat come closer and closer. Kids especially love this and when you look around and see the faces of those around you it'll be clear that this is a very Maine event!
This is a fun event that's sure to get everyone into the holiday spirit. But be sure to save a few hours for this, the line can get long! It is Santa with lobster elves, after all!
