When you think about hiking you might consider images of wooded forests or even streams and rivers. Some of us picture towering peaks with triumphant arms overhead indicating that we’ve just completed a huge feat. This, while wonderful, is not always hiking. In some cases here in Maine a hike can be considered a leisurely stroll through some beautiful surroundings. And those surrounding need not be surrounded by green. This trail, located in one of the state’s larger towns, is just a much a hike as anything else. And it might even be the most beautiful!
