These days it can be hard to find internal peace and quiet. But, luckily for Mainers, there’s a way to achieve it in the form of an overnight stay. While it might not be in the cards for every weekend, it’s nice to know that there are places here that offer a way to escape. This resort, sitting on the banks of one of the state’s very best lakes, it secluded and beautiful!
Welcome to Kewanhee Inn, a little slice of heaven located on the banks of Webb Lake in Weld.
The inn, built in the 1920s by brothers George and Raymond Frank, got its start after they first created a boys camp on the lake. Over time, the inn was built to house the growing number of staff at the camp.
Kewanhee is open seasonally and it's absolutely gorgeous from the summer all the way through to the fall. There are plenty of outdoor areas to sit back and take in the lake breeze. From cabins to the main lodge, life feels special here.
Kawanhee Inn is open seasonally from June to September. You can learn more about them and book your state by visiting their website. Or, follow them on Facebook. If you have more questions you can give them a call on 207-585-2000.
