This Ramshackle Lobster Shack Hiding In Maine Serves The Best Seafood

While we know it’s still technically winter and we know there’s inevitably going to be snow in our forecast, we can’t help but look forward just a little and imagine how soon spring will actually be here. When you do the math, it’s really not that far away. And, since we’ve now given you a reason to be able to say that spring is just around the corner, it’s also time to start planning out our seafood trips. This little spot in Kennebunkport has us strapping our our lobster bib already.

Nunan's Lobster Hut is located in the quintessential area of Kennebunkport known as Cape Porpoise.

While it's just off the side of the road, it might be easy to miss if you're not entirely sure what you're looking for. But, during the summer months there's one good way to find it - just follow the people who are likely sitting outside waiting to get inside.

The atmosphere is 100% Maine lobster shack and we wouldn't have it any other way. Their motto is "We catch 'em, we cook 'em, we crack 'em, you eat 'em!"

The rafters are exposed and the tables are casual which means you won't have any worries when you dig into your buttery meal.

Speaking of which, you're going to want to go all in on the lobster. There's a reason this place has been thriving since 1953. That's 53 seasons of perfecting the Maine seafood!

The lobster here is fresh, locally caught and then cooked to order. You won't find frills here, just simple and delicious seafood.

Even those looking to have a healthy meal can find something they love, like this lobster salad.
