If you’ve lived or vacationed in Maine for even a little bit of time you know that there’s no shortage of great seafood to enjoy. And perhaps no other seafood is as synonymous with Maine as lobster. You can find it in every corner of the state, from the coast to further inland, and it’s almost guaranteed to be the best you’ve ever had. To find the perfect lobster roll you'll first need to head toward the midcoast. Not exactly Boothbay, but yust nearby is the small town of Trevett. With a population of under 600 people and a drawbridge that's still hand-cranked, you might miss this little place if you're not looking for it.

Trevett’s Country Store is open every day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. But, remember that freshest lobster rolls are seasonal and you’ll want to enjoy them in the summer. While they don’t seem to have a website, you can reach Trevett’s Country Store on 207-633-1140.
