The Largest Go-Kart Track In Maine Will Take You On An Unforgettable Ride
Are you looking for some fun and adventure in Maine? How about something that the whole family can enjoy together? There’s certainly no shortage of things like that here in Vacationland, but every so often you want to try something a little more unique. Canopy walks and and ziplining will take you into the treetops, but there’s one adventure on the ground that’s just as exciting!
Maine Indoor Karting in Scarborough offers an exhilarating way to enjoy the day.
The 42,000-foot entertainment center is the largest in the state and it offers a great way to escape rain and snow while feeling the speed of being behind a race car.
This is a great option for group events and parties. Karts can fit either one or two people, so you can compete against your friends or join together and have a great time.
And we love that this is truly a family activity. They have a junior program for kids ages 9-15 and one for younger kids aged 2 to 7. Karts for the young kids only reach speeds of about 5 m.p.h. so you can feel confident that they'll be safe and have fun.
To participate you can either buy a membership or do what they call "arrive and drive" by just walking in.
The Arrive and Drive option is $24 dollars per race. An adult membership is $25 and a teen membership is $15. Get a 5-race package membership for $85. If you’re a member, races are $19 each.
Maine Indoor Karting is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Friday they’re open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Saturday they’re open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.You can learn more about them through their website.
