York Has One Of The Biggest Butterfly Exhibits In Maine, And It’s Magical
York’s Wild Animal Kingdom in Maine is a great place to spend the day as a family. There are a plethora of animals to see and interact with. You can spend time riding the camel near the entrance or feeding the ducks by the pond. Watch as the monkeys swing from limb to limb, or look into the eyes of the majestic king of the jungle. Now York’s Wild Animal Kingdom has one of the biggest butterfly exhibits in Maine and it is magical.
No one wants to go to a place to visit exotic animals and see them mopey and sad. You will not find that here. Walk right past the gate into the zoo, and you will see the happiest monkeys you have ever seen. They will swing from branch to limb with the greatest of ease and they couldn't look happier if they tried.
Once inside you will see lots of interactive exhibits to feed and pet the animals. Like these adorable goats just waiting to be loved by the many visitors each day.
Keep following it and you will find the door. After going through the double doors, it feels like you have been transported to a whole different world. It doesn't feel like Maine anymore -- that's for sure!
Once you are in the 5,500-square-foot exhibit known as the Butterfly Kingdom, you will be greeted by tons of gentle butterflies.
Walking around York’s Wild Animal Kingdom is a fun treat for the whole family. There are plenty of happy animals to interact with, pet, and feed.
