Locals Can’t Get Enough Of The Homemade Ice Cream At Fielder’s Choice In Maine
They say sometimes good things come in small packages but then again they must have never had a giant ice cream cone at Fielder’s Choice in Maine. The portions are so huge you almost won’t be able to eat it all — almost. These delectable frozen treats are so good you will relish it down to the very last spoonful. The story of Fielder’s Choice seems to follow their generous portions because they just can’t seem to stop growing, and Mainers just keep asking for more.
You always know you have a good product when people happily line up by the dozens to receive a delicious frozen treat.
These types of lines have become a common sight at any of the six locations. They have had to manage traffic on opening days because people just can not get enough of these amazing desserts.
It all started in Sabbatus over 15 years ago with homemade ice cream and lots of it. Since then they have grown to six locations, have been rated the number one ice cream place in Maine, won multiple awards, and have treated thousands of guests with incredible desserts.
The overflow of portions is partly to be seen as the success story of Fielder’s Choice, but these treats are also the perfect combination of creamy sweetness. You won’t find anything quite like what you can find in Maine’s favorite ice cream shop.
They boast a large selection of flavors with well over 30 homemade flavors.
Classic tastes like cookie dough and mint chocolate chip can be found alongside other great options like coffee oreo and blueberry. If you love decadent combinations try one of their signature sundaes or a shake. The possibilities are nearly endless.
The latest addition is a 36-hole mini golf course at the Bangor location.
Play a round and whoever loses has to pay for ice cream after. Which will never break the bank because the prices at Fielder’s Choice are very affordable. Plus, you will get the biggest bang for your buck when they hand you an ice cream so big you might need to grab it with two hands.
Humans seem to have all the fun, but not at this incredible ice cream place. Doggies can get in on the fun too with a small dish of ice cream and a little treat on top.
Fielder’s Choice in Maine is clearly a winner when it comes to ice cream places. Thousands of Mainers would agree and it doesn’t look like they are slowing down any time soon. It seems like they are always rising to meet the demand and that is what has put them on top. Many of the locations have different winter hours and are no longer closed until spring, so be sure to check the Fielder’s Choice website for updates.
