You Can Help Feed The Front Line Of Maine Medical Workers At These 8 Restaurants

When life is uncertain, it’s always comforting to look to the support of those who care. And, it’s even nicer when we can be those people. When the going gets tough, Mainers get going and that’s why today we’re highlighting a few businesses that have chosen to join a national program called Feeding the Frontline. Because Portland is home to Maine Medical Center, the state’s largest hospital as well as so many other care facilities most of these are based in Portland. But, you can contribute from anywhere through the links we’ve provided. If you can, visit them to lend some support. And if we’ve missed restaurants in your area who are a part of this program let us know!

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

Know of a small business or attraction that can use a little extra support right now. Nominate them here!

If you’re looking for more things to do these days check out the little Grand Canyon in Maine. It’s a big secluded treasure!
