When I come across a video like this one, I know that I must share it. A few months ago, I told you about how grateful I am to have this job. I spend time looking through the most beautiful photos of Maine and, I have the pleasure of smelling the salty air and breathing in the mountains without ever leaving my desk. Most of the time, I appreciate these moments and then move on to the next. But, occasionally, I come across a depiction of Maine that I must sit back and enjoy over and over again.

That is exactly what happened when I saw this drone footage of the Acadia area. From Stonington to Bar Harbor to the Penobscot Narrows Bridge, this aerial footage will remind you why we live here. We live here for family and friends and heritage, but we also live here because there simply isn’t another place on earth that gives us shivers when we see it portrayed so beautifully.

Put on your dancing shoes (this footage is set to the kind of music that makes you want to tap your feet!) and enjoy these four minutes. Then, pass the video along to someone else whose day would be made brighter by a short trip to Maine.
