With A Waterfall And Wading Pool, Big Falls Preserve In Maine Is Downright Enchanting
When the weather gets warm, Mainers head outside! Most of that time, that’s easy. There are so many parks, trails and areas to enjoy that we often have our go-to recreation areas that require very little thinking. Pack up the car, grab the bags and head out. But, rather than do the same things over and over again we’re trying to shake things up by trying new places. And this is a great option!
For a beautiful day out consider heading to New Gloucester for a visit to Big Falls Preserve!
The preserve features two main trails that offer views of the brook and ultimately a waterfall. Beyond that, a trip to the preserve offers peace and quiet.

In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms.
