Drive Down This Little-Traveled Back Road To Discover A Historic Church In Maine
Of all the road trips to take in Maine, we particularly love the ones that lead to pieces of history. Add in some seriously special scenery and you’ve got yourself the perfect journey through the state. While there are lots of places you can drive that lead to stunning vistas and overlooks, the next time you need to get away consider visiting this church. It’s just as scenic.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/

Michelle has lived in many places, but counts Maine as one of the best. In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms.
