Fall is in the air, which means lots of apples, cider, and the tradition of finding your way out of a corn maze. Forcing oneself to become lost certainly seems like a strange way to spend an afternoon, but it’s definitely one of the most fun things to do with family and friends. For this adventure, we are presenting you with seven great corn mazes in Maine. Once you’ve made it out, you should treat yourself to a cup of apple cider and a doughnut!
Every year, Treworgy Family Orchards comes up with an awesome themed corn maze that is always a great time. Visitors follow clues to find their way out, but if you're not a good clue-follower, don't fret. The mazes are usually fairly easy for everyone. They sometimes also offer a treat when you finish! Entry fees are very nominal, and folks at Treworgy Family Orchards promise that it's not meant to be scary and all will have fun.
Part of the fun at Zach's Farm Maze is the 20-minute hayride to get there. The maze itself is located across 17 acres of corn fields. If you're looking for a little extra fun, look out for their evening flashlight tag nights, which are always so much fun for the entire family!
This seventh generation family farm in Southern Maine features pick-your-own apples, pumpkins, weekend hay rides, and, of course, a challenging corn maze. (Psst! They sell cider and donuts too!).

Next up on the list of these amazing corn mazes in Maine is Sandy River Farms. Located in the town of Farmington, it is a very popular fall attraction because each year they come up with a very interesting theme. One year the farm celebrated the Maine chapter of United Farmer Veterans, which supports veterans wanting to farm in the state. A visit here typically includes a free hayride, a petting zoo with farm animals, an obstacle course, and a corn box.

This challenging corn maze focuses on a specific theme each year. The nominal entrance fees make it a budget-friendly activity which includes access to the maze, the play area, a hay ride, a jumping pillow, and a ride on the cow train.
This maze spans a six-acre area and usually includes lots of tricky twists, turns, and no-way-out corners. While this can take up to an hour to figure out, those who are easily frustrated will be able to make a quick escape to give an easy-out about halfway through. The entry fee typically includes access to all farm activities and there are sometimes discounts on certain days of the week. Fall fun doesn't get any better than this!
Ricker Hill Orchards is a Maine mainstay. They've been in operation for more than nine generations in Maine's foothills. In addition to apple picking, you'll find lots of fun activities, including the wonderfully tricky corn maze. The fall foliage in the area is wonderful to enjoy as well.
