Experience Beautiful Views Of Acadia National Park When You Dine At Jordan’s Pond House
Acadia National Park is a must-visit when in Maine. Even if you call the state home, heading to the region’s only national park is a great way to spend the day. Although between the trails, the scenery and the special attractions, there’s enough to keep you busy for multiple days. Whether you love hiking the outdoors or prefer to simply see the sights, make sure to save room for a visit to the park’s most famous restaurant!
Sitting by the shores of Jordan Pond in Acadia National Park since 1893, Jordan's Pond House Restaurant is one of the most visited places in the park.
The only physical exertion you'll have here is eating some of the best food in the region or taking the path along the property for a better view of the Bubbles and the water.
Order lunch and enjoy the view while savoring a popover sundae! Jordan's Pond House Restaurant makes at least 16 gallons of homemade ice cream with Maine Oakhurst Dairy cream every single day so you know this is good!
A visit to this special place in the park is a must if you can grab a seat. And if you can't? You'll have a great excuse to plan another beautiful visit sometime soon.
Jordan’s Pond House Restaurant is open seasonally from late April to the end of October. Hours change each month. Typically reservations are accepted, but in 2021 seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. You can learn more about the restaurant by visiting their website. You can also check them out on Facebook. The restaurant can be reached at 207-276-3781.

In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms.
