Here are just a few of the things I remember as a kid, before the internet began taking up so much of our time.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
The best part of this list is that we can certainly get back to this lifestyle. Let’s all just spend a little more time in the present with the people we love. What do you miss about before we all became so reliant on technology? Let us know over on the Only in Maine Facebook page!

In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms.
