Baxter State Park encompasses 209,501 acres around Mount Katahdin. It's a magnificent spot for all kinds of outdoor recreation. There are tons of trails, lots of camping and, of course, Mt. This hike that begins in Andover will lead you along the Appalachian Trail to Dunn Falls. The trail is fairly narrow and runs through the forest following a stream. You'll first come to Lower Dunn Falls and then make your way to Upper Dunn Falls.
