It’s that time of year again, where there are endless holiday activities that are perfect for the whole family. This particular winter village is great for all ages, and you’re going to love it. The Acadian Village is like taking a step through time.
This open-air museum features authentic versions of Acadian life in the 1800s. For most of the year, you can stroll through a village, visiting authentic homes and learning what day-to-day life was like for Acadians in the 19th century.
For the month of December, the village transforms into a mesmerizing winter village that will simply enchant you beyond words.
They even close down for most of November so that they can transform the village for the holidays.
It takes over half a million lights to light up the village, and it’s truly enchanting.
From the front porches to the chapel, just about everywhere you look will be lit up for the holidays.
There will be lighted displays, animated displays, live music, and local cuisine.
Bring the whole family for a memorable evening you won’t soon forget.
There’ll also be carnival rides for the thrill seekers.
Enjoy the classic carousel, take a ride on the train, or challenge your friends to some bumper cars. There’ll be carnival rides for all ages!
And, of course, there will be Santa sightings.
He’ll be making an appearance every evening from 6 p.m to 9 p.m. for photographs.
The Noel Acadien au Village is open until December 23rd, so be sure to find some time to visit this extraordinary winter village!
It’ll be open every evening from 5:30-9pm. Advanced tickets are $8/person and $10 at the gate. Kids four years and younger are free, as well as active military with an ID.
