When you think of spending time at the beach, Louisiana may not be the first place that pops into your head. It’s easy to overlook our beaches when Florida is so close, but we do have a couple of beautiful beaches! One beach in particular has pristine white sand and beautiful scenery. Once you visit this underrated beach, you’ll be back time and time again!

The park is 2,800 acres of hiking trails, nature trails, camp sites, bayous, and a beautiful beach!
The park backs up into Lake Pontchartrain, and has a fantastic little beach.

The lake is pretty shallow near the beach, making it perfect for kids.
