This Unassuming Little Shack In Louisiana Has Food So Good It Should Be Illegal
You’ve probably heard the old saying, “don’t judge a book by its cover.” Well, that same rule applies to restaurants too. Just because an eatery’s exterior isn’t flashy doesn’t mean that it’s not serving up some of the most mouthwatering food in town. That’s certainly the case with this little St. Rose joint, where the food is so good it should be illegal.

Many who visit St. Rose come here while exploring the historic plantations peppered along River Road, but there’s also an unassuming restaurant in town that you should definitely check out. It’s the perfect pit stop for a hearty lunch!

Like many small-town restaurants, you’ll find that this is one of those places that locals frequent quite often - and for good reason: the food.

Just look at that soft shell crab! When these guys are in season, they’re an absolute must-try.

Grab a plate before the season ends; you won’t be disappointed.
