The Tammany Trace Is A 31-Mile Path In Louisiana That Winds Alongside Lakes, Rivers, And Historic Towns
Spending time outdoors is always a good idea, and especially if you’re surrounded by some of Louisiana’s most beautiful scenery. For an epic outdoor exploration that will challenge even the most experienced hiker (or cyclist), you’ll want to put the Tammany Trace on your bucket list. It’s one of the most beautiful trails in the state, and you’ll fall in love with all of the charming towns you’ll pass through along the way.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

Stop off along the way and explore some of these beautiful towns - you might just stumble into a delightful farmers market where you can pick up some fun finds!

Keep challenging yourself so you can eventually do the entire 31 miles in one go!
