The ghost hunt took place on the night of July 6th, when a group of intrepid ghost hunters took rooms in the Andrew Jackson Hotel.

There are rumors that the Andrew Jackson Hotel was a boys boarding school before the great French Quarter fire of 1788, but in reality, it was the site of the U.S. Federal Courthouse after the Louisiana Purchase.
The current building here was built in 1890, and there have been rumors about hauntings ever since.

There are said to be many children who died in French Quarter fires haunting here, as well as former housekeepers.
When the ghost hunters arrived in July, they noticed some strange incidents right away.

Later in the night, ghost hunters visited Room 208, said to be the most haunted room in the house.

There, they made contact with "Sara", who was believed to be Rosaria Catherine "Sara" Cangeloise, pictured here. She was employed at the hotel and reportedly asked about how her children were doing.
Another investigation on the night of the ghost hunt led the hunters to get in contact with a young boy in the hotel.

The spirit of the young boy reportedly asked whether he could be 'saved' and that he was scared and alone in the hotel.
Many other strange occurrences happened throughout the ghost hunt, making it a big success.
