With hundreds of trails to explore, it can be tricky to find the perfect one for you. If you’re looking to spend some time outdoors, but don’t have that much time to dedicate to a lengthy adventure, then these trails are perfect for you.
There are a couple of different trails at this state park, but the nature trail is about 1.5 miles and will lead you through the marsh with a chance for seeing wildlife like gators, turtles, snakes, birds, and much more.
This 2.4-mile loop trail near Shreveport is wonderful for hiking of mountain biking and features lovely river views. The trail was recently repaired, so it’s the perfect time to go check it out.

Located in the heart of Baton Rouge, this 2.2-mile trail is great for all skill levels, especially for kids. You’ll see tons of wildlife along the boardwalk trail, and you’ll be surrounded by some of Louisiana’s prettiest scenery.
