1. Brownell Memorial Park and Carillon Tower

Located with on Lake Palourde in Morgan City, you’ll be amazed at the views at this 9.5-acre park. Stroll through the moss draped cypress trees as you listen to the music of the bells from the Carillon Tower, which rings every 15 minutes. Find it at 3559 LA-70, Morgan City, LA 70380.
2. Betty Virginia Park

Perfect for a picnic with the family, some quality time with your dog, or just a relaxing walk in the park, this 23-acre park is a wonderful way to spend your afternoon. It's located at 3901 Fairfield Ave, Shreveport, LA 71106.
3. Lincoln Parish Park

Rated as the best mountain bike trail in the south, Lincoln Parish Park is the perfect spot for anyone looking to get outdoors. 4. Perkins Road Community Park

There’s something for everyone at Perkins Road Community Park. Guests can enjoy the walking and bike trails, a skateboard park, a BMX track, playgrounds, baseball fields, and a rock wall. After all, it's not every day that you come across a park with a velodrome! It's located at 7122 Perkins Road, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70808.
5. Forsythe Park

This lovely neighborhood park encompasses 53 acres and has a 9-hole golf course, tennis courts, a putt-putt golf course, beach volleyball courts and spectacular views of the Ouachita River. It's located at 2401 Sycamore St. Monroe, LA 71201.
6. Bogue Falaya Park

There’s tons of space to relax over at Bogue Falaya Park. Bring a blanket and relax in the grass, or head over to the water and enjoy the serenity of the Bogue Falaya River. As always, the playground is a favorite for the youngsters. It's located at 213 Park Drive, Covington, LA 70433.
7. A C Steere Park

Kiroli Park is a perfectly serene place to go relax with a good book. Park benches are scattered throughout the park and the well-manicured lawns and gardens will wow you. Admission is $1 per person and it’s worth every penny. It's located at 820 Kiroli Road, West Monroe, LA 71291.
