There are some things that New Orleanians do without thinking about it, and after a while it just becomes a bit of an unwritten rule. From what we call certain things to when we eat specific dishes, here are some of our unwritten rules every New Orleanian lives by till death.

1. This is called the neutral ground

3. You’ve got to get there early if you want a good spot during the parades.

4. Po’boys are judged by how many napkins you use

5. Forget about North/South/East/West when giving directions
