Spahr’s opened their doors in 1968 and have expanded over the years to include restaurants in Galliano, Thibodaux, and their original location in Des Allemands.
While their original Des Allemands location was devastated by a fire in 2002, it didn’t take long to rebuild.

The building may be different, but the location is the same. In 2006, they rebuilt the beloved restaurant on the exact same slab where the original restaurant sat.
Nestled along the banks of Bayou Des Allemands, the water views have become a main attraction for visitors to this family-friend eatery.
