The Remote Town Near New Orleans That’s Full Of Adventure
Looking to get away and have a bit of an adventure? Louisiana is full of small towns (and even big cities) where you can spend a weekend exploring. This one tiny town at the tip of the boot is full of outdoor adventures just waiting for you to explore.
It may be a small town, but it’s filled with fun adventures.
With more than 280 species of fish, anglers of all ages and skill levels will be in heaven catching all the fish.
During the summer, thousands of anglers travel to Grand Isle to participate in the annual Tarpon Rodeo.
The annual Grand Isle Migratory Bird Celebration takes place April 20-21 throughout the town. You’ll see hundreds of songbirds and shorebirds throughout the island. Last year more than 168 different species were spotted.
The views are stunning, and if you keep an eye out, you’ll probably see some dolphins!
