Tucked away in historic Old Mandeville, this vibrant diner has been a neighborhood favorite for locals looking for a great meal outside of their own kitchens.

This funky little eatery trades your typical 50’s-themed decor for a funky atmosphere with a pop of color. If the psychedelic 70’s met the bold artistic style of New Orleans, you’d have Liz’s Where Y’at Diner.

And it’s worth waking up early for.

The debris grits in particular are a fan favorite. So good you’ll be tempted to lick the bowl!

Huge portions of New Orleans-style cuisine that will instantly put a smile on your face.

Their extensive menu covers everything from crab cake appetizers to tacos and big, juicy burgers.

You can also get some yummy sliders to share along with refreshing daiquiris, margaritas, beers, and wines.

Those with a sweet tooth will be on cloud nine indulging in one of their specialty desserts. Their white chocolate bread pudding, pictured above, might just be one of the best in the state!
