You Don’t Want To Miss This Gorgeous Lantern Festival In New Orleans This Year

Celebration in the Oaks, the yearly light display in City Park, is one of the most exciting events on New Orleans’ calendar each year. But in the past couple of years, a truly exciting new light display has come on in the scene in New Orleans. Known as the China Lights Festival, it gives a whole new meaning to what a lantern festival can look like.

The China Lights festival took place last year in the Botanical Gardens in City Park.

There is no word yet on whether the light display will be up again this year, but we are all keeping our fingers crossed.
Why? Because it included some of the most beautiful light displays that have ever taken place in city park.

The lanterns featured here are created to showcase a variety of Chinese traditions and craftsmanship.
Decorating the already gorgeous botanical gardens with these light fixtures creates some awesome horizons.

The displays also included a variety of food vendors so that you can enjoy a scrumptious dinner while touring.
