There's so much to fall in love with this neighborhood downriver from the Marigny, including this iconic church known as the Marigny Opera House.
Originally settled as a vacation place for those living in the French Quarter, Carrollton is the riverbend neighborhood that really packs a punch. The old courthouse of this town, pictured here, is one of the most beautiful historic buildings in the area.
3) French Quarter
The oldest part of New Orleans, there were two major fires that required a complete rebuilding of this neighborhood during the early years. It was all rebuilt however, offering some of the most historic and beautiful buildings in all of New Orleans.
Frenchmen street, pictured here, is the most iconic street in this neighborhood and makes for it a beautiful stroll.
5) Garden District
There is so much to see in this amazing neighborhood which includes some of the most extravagant mansions in all of New Orleans. The intricate details are simply amazing.
