First stop, outside of New Orleans you need to explore Manchac Swamp. The legendary Voodoo priestess Julie White is said to haunt these areas--you'll see what you find!
2) Dueling Oaks, Dueling Oaks Drive City Park
More duels took place in New Orleans than almost any other place in the country during the 19th century, and these oaks are where a lot of the battles occurred. You can bet there are ghosts that haunt this area!
3) St. Louis Cemetery No. 1, 425 Basin St.
This legendary cemetery is filled with some of the most intense ghosts that have ever haunted New Orleans.
4) Lalaurie Mansion, 1140 Royal St.
Madame Delphine de Lalaurie became known for torturing her slaves, and although she was eventually ran out of the city by a mob, there are many ghosts who still haunt here.
5) Muriel's Jackson Square, 801 Chartres St.
Ghost stories abound at this Jackson Square restaurant where many report seeing the former owner of this building, who lost it in a bet.
6) Arnaud's Restaurant, 813 Bienville St.
The Richelieu bar is known to be haunted by a number of ghosts, especially those who used to use this hidden spot as an opium den.
