Today we are traveling to beautiful Thibodaux to talk about an amazing restaurant that’s full of history and bold flavors. It’s about an hour drive from the city, and absolutely worth your time. Let’s take a closer look.
The building has a been a part of Thibodaux’s history for over a century.
Mr. E.N. Roth Sr. built the building in 1878 and then in 1910 he opened the Roth Drugstore. Originally, the third floor (which was destroyed in 1965 during Hurricane Betsy) was residential, the second floor were offices, and the first floor was the drug store. Many locals have fond memories of visiting Roth Drugstore for their needs.

After a two year restoration process, Fremin’s restaurant was open. From the mahogany storefront to the elegant dining room, you get a sense of nostalgia from the moment you walk in.
